Classes confined to registered ponies only. Affiliated to SBSBS appropriate Society rosettes. Stallions aged 4 years or over, must hold either a SPSBS Licence or a Ministry of Agriculture Licence. 3 year old fillies with foal at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a minimum of 3 weeks old on Show day. Children under 14 years may not show colts (excluding foals) or Stallion in hand classes. Children under 12 years may not show stallions in ridden classes. In the interest of safety, hard hats must be worn by all handlers aged 14 years or under, in ‘in hand’ classes. All exhibitors, irrespective of age, in ridden classes, MUST wear hard hats that conform to BSI standards. In a ridden class, if a rider falls off at any time whilst in the ring, both pony and rider must leave the ring, dismounted and take no further part.
